Call For Applications Recruitment of an Organizational Development & Financial Sustainability Advisor for Cameroon YMCA

The Cameroon YMCA, a member of the Africa Alliance of YMCAs and the World YMCA Movement, is committed to youth empowerment, social justice, and sustainable development. As part of its institutional strengthening and financial sustainability agenda, the Cameroon YMCA is seeking to recruit an Organizational Development and Financial Sustainability Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the National Executive Committee, the Advisor will be responsible for:
I.   Leading the institutional, organizational and financial strengthening of the Cameroon YMCA.
II.  Enhancing governance, administrative and financial procedures and internal control mechanisms.
III. Developing a strategic plan and a financial sustainability model.
IV. Designing and implementing a resource mobilization and partnership strategy.
V. Supporting the protection, management, and value enhancement of the organization's assets.
VI. Preparing the institutional framework and conditions for the recruitment of the future National General Secretary.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate must possess:
I.   A minimum of a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Development Studies, or a related field.
II.  At least ten (10) years of relevant professional experience.
III. Demonstrated expertise in governance, organizational development, financial management, internal controls and resource mobilization.
IV. Sound knowledge of the operations and management of NGOs and development organizations.
V. Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation and report-writing skills.

Duration of the Assignment

The assignment will be for a period of 6 to 12 months, based in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with possible travel within the country as required.
