Tribute to Patrick Agutu

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Mr. Patrick Agutu on Friday, June 14, 2024. Patrick was a great leader in the YMCA. He was the President of Kenya YMCA from 2007 to 2010 and was the Treasurer of the African Alliance from 2015 to 2019
He continued to serve on the executive committee of the African Alliance as a local board representative until 2023.
Mr Agutu was a brilliant leader, discreet but always resourceful. His advice were invaluable, and he steered the Alliance towards growth. He was much appreciated by other leaders throughout the African movement.
His passing is a great loss to us all, and we would like to pay tribute to him by expressing our deep respect for such a great leader.
We extend our condolences to his wife and children, to his entire family and to the entire African YMCA family.
