From November 1-4, the Africa Alliance of YMCA proudly joined over 300 young leaders and partners from across the continent at the Pan Africa Youth Forum. This gathering brought together youth voices and change-makers from diverse backgrounds, all united by the goal of empowering young Africans and fostering sustainable development.
With a focus on strengthening networks and fostering collaboration, the forum provided an invaluable platform for participants to delve into the African Union’s policies and frameworks that shape the future of African youth. This immersion into the AU’s vision enabled young leaders to gain a deeper understanding of the policies that impact their lives and communities, equipping them to become influential advocates for positive change.
The forum was a powerful opportunity for the Africa Alliance of YMCA to contribute to continental decision-making spaces. Through active participation and collaboration, we’re taking essential steps toward a unified vision for youth empowerment across Africa. By building synergies, the forum amplified young voices, creating a momentum that promises to drive sustainable change across the continent.
At the Africa Alliance of YMCA, we remain committed to ensuring that African youth have the tools and support to lead effectively and advocate for their futures. This forum marks only the beginning of strengthened alliances, impactful dialogues, and dedicated efforts toward a brighter, more unified Africa.
