Career: After finishing high school I worked part-time as a sales associate in different sports stores during my University studies. Further, I volunteered in several different positions such as being the Vice-President in the youth council for International studies at Oslo Metropolitan University and Head of Marketing for the student organisation of the Norwegian Association of Economics at the University of Life Sciences in Norway. During my master studies, I had an internship at the Centre for Peace Studies in Tromso, the position included event planning, facility management and conference support. In 2016, I worked as an Intern at the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Lilongwe, where some of my main tasks included project management, political reporting and communicating Norway’s profile and development projects with Malawi through the Embassy’s website and social media. Before I started my position at AAY, I worked as a substitute teacher at Lillehammer learning centre, teaching language-minorities over the age 16 who requires basic Norwegian language lessons.
